This device features four dimmable 30w radio style Edison bulbs in place of fan blades. A separate switch allows the bulbs to rotate at a gentle speed of 30 rounds per minute, and the level of light may be adjusted while it rotates. A rotary knob rheostat switch controls the level of light, from quite bright to just barely visible.
This device casts light in all directions, making it particularly ideal for open spaces. It is ideal for an office, den, bedroom, living room or bar. It casts a very warm candlelight-like color, and can be bright enough to read by.
The floor stand is sturdy and well weighted; you needn't worry about it taking a tumble.
The Illuminated Desk Fan's bulbs are easily and quickly replaced by reaching through the open-style fan cage.
The device measures 5' tall (the height is adjustable), 10" wide and is all-metal construction.
Our Edison bulbs are custom-made for Illuminated Objects, and have a slight amber hue and a subtle mirrored finish. They are rated to last 3,000 hrs., and considerably more if dimmed at all. Never worry about replacements - we have thousands, and they are available for a mere $5 each.
All electrical materials used are UL, CE, and/or CCC approved, and the entire unit has been thoroughly tested for safety, reliability and soundness.
