The dimmer switch on its power cord allows fine adjustments to light levels from barely visible to cheerily bright. It sits on a handsome wooden tripod. The central sphere reflects the warm lighting and the bisecting lines on the iron globe. We find it difficult to turn our gaze away from the many reflections.
The custom candelabra base bulbs are pleasantly warm and bright, with a slight amber hue - very easy on the eye, and rated to last 3,0000 hrs. at full brightness, much more if dimmed at all.
