Illuminated Westinghouse Volt Meter on Wood Base
A unique arrangement of a smaller vintage Westinghouse volt meter sporting two custom Edison bulbs. A jaunty little device, this.
The lights are fully dimmable, with lighting controlled via a brass switch on its side - from barely visible to cheerily bright.
The meter on the front actually measures the amount of current going to the bulbs as you adjust it from dim to bright.
This piece is an excellent example of one of the "tools of the trade" for electrical engineers and electricians from the 1930s-50s.
Our Edison bulbs are custom-made for Illuminated Objects, and have a slight amber hue and a subtle mirrored finish. They are rated to last 3,000 hrs., and considerably more if dimmed at all. Never worry about replacements - we have thousands, and they are available for a mere $5 each.
All electrical materials used are UL, CE, and/or CCC approved, and the entire unit has been thoroughly tested for safety, reliability and soundness.
Your satisfaction ensured: Should this piece ever require servicing apart from bulb replacement, accident, or misuse, we will promptly set things right to your satisfaction at no charge save shipping.
