The Illuminated Microscope features tubular candelabra style Edison bulbs on each end of the ocular tube. An in-line rotary dimmer switch located on the power cord adjusts brightness, from quite radiant to just barely visible. Each bulb is 25w and has a slight amber hue in the glass. Either bulb may be removed to give the piece a different look.
The Illuminated Microscope is perfect for any science enthusiast. It is a genuine antique, more than 75 years old.
The ocular tube may be adjusted up and down with the large knob on its side; the piece may also be tilted to an approximately 50-degree position.
The device measures 17" tall, 4" wide, and 7" deep. All electrical materials used are certified, and all connections are designed for safety and durability. The unit is fully tested for soundness and reliability.
